Ask HN: Google showing you old Tasks & Chrome Tab data?

I just opened my MBP, and noticed 1 - it opened old Chrome tabs from 10 days ago. 2 - the Google Tasks were missing last weeks updates, and showed older tasks as non-completed. Has Google Alzheimer's finally set in? Anyone else ever experienced this? Any way to mitigate this in the future?
