I spoke to a friend that does regenerative agriculture, they said sunflowers are excellent for breaking up clay and poor quality soils. (Location depending of course as to suitability)
- ttyprintk 3y agoSunflowers are an excellent study in juglone. Juglone impedes many plants from sprouting, so sunflowers are described as weed repellent.
