Gotta stop here... This Twitter feed is becoming a reminder that working with typography in software exposes a person to really awful, annoying things...
IDK about the font hate though. I used to teach a typographic design unit to college students and found that loving and handling deftly a few good fonts is far more interesting than hating fifty. The font-hate hype train is easy to board and quite intoxicating in its way.
