Is that really true? I thought it was fine to use small snippets of stuff?
- etskinner 3y agoIt's fine to use small snippets, but it specifically has to be for commentary, satire, derivative works, etc. The term you're looking for is 'fair use'
- whamlastxmas 3y agoWhich is still infringement technically, fair use is a defense for infringement
- whamlastxmas 3y agoEven distributing a single still image or frame is infringement
