    I think it's okay for people of any age to not care about GPT's temperature parameter.

      Not if you're going to criticize it in public, though. It's okay for us to think less of people who do things like that, even when -- or especially when -- the guilty parties are respected computer scientists. "Science advances one funeral at a time" is a cynical commentary, not an ideal to strive for.
