It's regrettable and astounding at the same time that a factual comment is getting downvoted.
UPI should absolutely introduce a facility to chargeback a transaction, which is why I always prefer to use my credit card, if possible.
- samarthr1 3y agoNot sure if you are unfamiliar with the credit cards issued in India, but my bank's fraud protection is limited to "did someone steal your card and make a payment"
- ta7789 3y agoCredit cards work differently in the US compared to the rest of the world. You can just "charge back" the merchant for pretty much any reason.
- EVa5I7bHFq9mnYK 3y agoNo, you can't. I tried twice. Banks side with the merchants because merchants pay them, not you.
- cubefox 3y agoA credit card costs more in the long run, otherwise credit card companies wouldn't be profitable.
