- deprecative 3y agoDon't most apps charge Apple folks more? I thought this was more universal. They like being parted with their money -- they pay the Apple tax.
- TheLoafOfBread 3y ago30% Apple tax being relayed to customers. But they don't mind, they are used to paying more for everything.
- adlpz 3y agoWhat's with the "Apple users hate their money anyway lololol hurr durr" comments? Is this really the level of discussion we want here? Sorry for the meta comment but it gets annoying. Apple doesn't apply the 30% cut to physical goods like food, btw.
- vivegi 3y agoAirlines (and many other industries like hospitality) have been charging dynamic pricing based on customer segmentation for a very long time. I guess we draw the line of indignation when segmenting customers by OS/device. /s
- Reubend 3y agoI'm not a lawyer, but as far as I know, it's not illegal to charge iPhone users more money. The class-action lawsuit seems like it would be on shaky ground unless I'm missing something major here.
