Ask HN: Anyone traveling to Argentina, need to get a developer a new laptop
Apparently it's impossible to purchase a macbook there...
- smoldesu 3y agoSo, you want one of us to buy a Macbook and take it to your developer? This sounds like something you should handle professionally, especially if you've got any compliance to worry about.
- simonblack 3y agoWouldn't it just be easier to post those drugs of yours across to your dealer(s)? Google is your friend: https://ipoint.com.ar/ https://ipoint.com.ar/ https://ipoint.com.ar/217-macbook https://ipoint.com.ar/217-macbook
- sf4lifer 3y agoSorry this was a poorly worded question. Because exchange rate and taxes buying a macbook in Argentina is insanely expensive. I was hoping the community here would share how they've done it (not actually find someone to carry a laptop for me).
