  Nasa is "excited" about the public display of their own corruption? Bezos can be excited of his successful lobbying efforts, but which NASA personel will want to set a foot into this unproven and unfinished thing? They are not all suicidal.

    The second paragraph in the article states that Blue Origin must "design, develop, test, and verify its Blue Moon lander to meet NASA’s human landing system requirements" and must perform "one uncrewed demonstration mission to the lunar surface before a crewed demo".

  NASA, the one who gave us the moon, and the one who gave us the shuttle and Hubble, is dead. The SLS is a pork project of beastly proportions, with its stupidity matched only by its cost. Sure, it might function in the sense that astronauts flying on it won’t die, but it demonstrates all of the worst of government largesse and incompetence and waste. I may not love Musk, but just… if anyone at this point were going to repeat the Saturn V’s successes…
