Rust integration in Ruby (Helix alternatives)

3 points by opengears 3y ago

I am wondering if there are alternatives to "Helix" (which has been the Ruby/Rails+Rust) anyone can report about? Sadly the Helix project is deprecated and not continued anymore.

Context: Helix allows you to write Ruby classes in Rust without having to write the glue code yourself. https://usehelix.com/ https://usehelix.com/
