These are just the words of someone with no real connection to East Asia, but I feel Japanese aggression and it's treatment of of China and Korea are brought up constantly? There's even a Wikipedia page (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_war_apology_statements_issued_by_Japan https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_war_apology_statemen...) devoted to Japanese war apologies. Like at some point you need to acknowledge that the past is the past. Like look at Germany and Poland, or the UK and Ireland. You can acknowledge and keep in mind historical wrongs while building a better future together.
