Similar to remarks on human intuition. And that's how Intuition Peak in Antarctica came to be named, by a scientist (I asked him about it).
- 8n4vidtmkvmk 3y agoAsked who? I can't find a specific scientist credited for naming it.
- quakeguy 3y agoSeems like a bulgarian institution named it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antarctic_Place-names_Commission https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antarctic_Place-names_Commissi... The Commission approves Bulgarian place names in Antarctica, which are formally given by the President of the Republic according to the Bulgarian Constitution
- themodelplumber 3y agoDr. Lyubomir Ivanov proposed the name, it was approved by committee in 4/2005, and then promulgated by the president. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyubomir_Ivanov_(explorer) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyubomir_Ivanov_(explorer)
