He's a Canadian resident but not a citizen, it limits what Canada can do for him as far as I understand he is a Iranian citizen and thus they can pretty much do what they want with him. This case really angers me and it makes me feel quite powerless. As I Canadian I hope my government is still providing as much aid as they can to help him.
