SCOTUS spares Section 230, rules Google, Twitter not liable for aiding ISIS
- valianteffort 3y agoS230 passed during a time where it was infeasable to have all user generated content curated. Now with AI tools and more compute available, it is possible and so companies that are large enough should not be given a free pass here. I don't think these companies can moderate content when it suits their interests (politics) but then try to shirk responsibility when it comes to illegal content like CSAM.
