A long time ago, r/JoeRogan was a fun place, where you could make fun of Joe Rogan and some of his boneheaded guests. You could talk about DMT, Aliens, Bigfoot conspiracies, and Graham Hancock's theories about lost ancient civilizations.
Then culture-war memes started to appear in the subreddit, and gradually took over. It turned into a complete shitshow, where people from "the right" and "the left" just dump links to articles that are guaranteed to "pwn the libs" or anger the fascists. All of those are just tiresome right vs left flamewars. Now r/JoeRogan is so thoroughly dominated by this crap that it's been ruined.
Coming back to the Disney/Florida article, how is it relevant other than just bringing a bit of this battle of the culture war to HN? Regardless of how you may feel about Ron Desantis or Disney or who is right or wrong, is it useful to debate this in one more place?
