The impact of erasure coding on CPU performance across Intel, AMD and Graviton
- rektide 3y agoA 48 core Epyc struggling to decide at 1Gbps is shocking to me. Intel is crushing them on a bunch of these benchmarks, even with AVX2 & not the new GFNI instructions. That's just ridiculously tiny bandwidth, all in all.
