Using LangChain definitely shifted how I was building with language models. It took me a couple days to really wrap my head around the possibilities, so if you feel similarly when you're getting started don't worry. If you have any specific questions, or want to chat with someone else using it, please don't be shy. My email and twitter handle are both in my profile. I truly love talking about all of this and hearing what other folks are working on.
