I have 1.5gbps internet and the ISP modem has a multi-gig port on it (2.5G) so tplink deco series (X90) come with a 2.5G port on each unit, and the XE200's have 10G ports. I used to run a full 10gb-t datacenter switch (dell) and put the fiber right into the sfp+ ports to do my own routing, but once the ISP started providing modems that could actually network at 2.5G it was overkill and I moved back to modem -> APs and modem->smaller 10G switch for PCs and Servers.
