McDonald's Employees Can't Accept Tips – But That May Soon Change in Colorado
- Apocryphon 3y agoI find this to be interesting juxtaposed against the news about the Apple Store union asking to be able for workers to accept tips: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35832910 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35832910
- alphaomegacode 3y agoTipping at McDonald’s to ensure you get your fries and burger hot? What prevents the workers from slow-walking your orders if you're a regular and don't tip? As for tipping in the Apple store, it's already a "hope I look like I have money and am worth their time" experience lol. So it'll be interesting to see if they use tips to acknowledge someone.
