  Discord charges more for essentially the same thing. Never understood why someone would pay for it when they still sell your data and now have your real info.

    "Essentially the same thing". I can't parse this given how different Discord is as structure to Twitter.

      It's a public platform to communicate with people on. The only difference is that groups are containerized on discord and discussions are chronological. Twitter is arguably better for discovery.
