Show HN: Gurney – visualize the reach of a PubMed paper across time, disciplines
Gurney is a web app for exploring PubMed literature through interactive data visualization. It’s similar to Litmaps, but with a narrower focus on dataviz and (for now) the PubMed archive.
New since posting to Show HN last year (ref: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33164146 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33164146): Gurney ingests daily updates from PubMed and is currently about 5 days behind; major improvements to usability, namely a more legible Y axis
- gardenfelder 3y agoI gave it a different pmid and it failed. not sure what's going on.Great idea,however Edit: that was a 2020 paper. I fed it a 2015 paper.Still couldn't find it.
