Confused outreach or LLM content? I wasn't sure. Now I wonder if these two have structural similarity? As you move away from someone's specific research (or sometimes teaching) focus, quality of understanding falls off surprisingly rapidly. Towards something which is not rational transferable integrated understanding, but rather a "science"-education artifact, a pattern-matched chained-regurgitation of misconception-laden stories. Larger tokens, but the mechanism and results remind me of LLMs.
