Offshoring to the lowest bidder and hiring remote from all over the world are completely different things and not remotely comparable.
- unity1001 3y agoWhat? You seem to think that offshoring/outsourcing => only hiring an external company to do the work. It isnt. Companies have been setting up local subsidiaries in offshoring countries to hire local talent there and offshore the work to their own subsidiaries. It didnt bring down salaries. Neither did contracting out dev work to external companies overseas.
