Oh, I'm disappointed now, I wanted to learn more about groff and mom! I've been through many typesetting systems lately, namely latex, sile, pollen, patoline, scribble, typst, even affinity publisher. I ended up back to latex with tectonic as engine/distribution. My problem with the rest is that they don't output pdf. And my problem with typst is that it is still pretty immature (doesn't support foonotes, for example).
