Wasn’t there a story recently about Apple leaving India because of quality problems?
- indianmouse 3y agoYep. Union worker issues, quality issues. Raw materials demand etc., etc., A lot more issues. It's getting costly to run a factory in India at a large scale. Though it might favor big businesses due to the fat margins on which they operate, but the margin gets thinner and they might look for cheaper places to setup alternatives. Inflation is one big worry and almost all state and the central union govt operates with utmost corruption!

- kramerger 3y ago> Union worker issues When did that happen? I've only heard about India changing the labour laws to inhumanekennels to keep apple happy. (Because everyone knows overworked and tired workers results in better quality)
- yumraj 3y agoWhere? There was a story, but it was about Wistron selling their factory to Tata, which is a very large industrial house, making Tata one of the Apple manufactures. Apple, per the reports, is increasing its manufacturing there.
