Hi, Leigh here! I created PrintNanny to monitor my 3D printers, with the detection/monitoring system running locally on a Raspberry Pi. I didn't feel comfortable sending camera frames up to the cloud constantly.
I ended up rolling my own Linux distro (with Yocto) to distribute the computer vision stack, along with my favorite tools like OctoPrint, Tailscale, and Syncthing. I just started selling quick-start kits in the US too: https://printnanny.ai/shop/raspberry-pi-4-kit https://printnanny.ai/shop/raspberry-pi-4-kit
