My wife switched literally yesterday. She didn’t want to, but the Android smartphone landscape has a paradoxical lack of options. Her go-to brand was OnePlus, but OnePlus has been slacking the last couple of iterations. Other brands with high end phones were almost as expensive as the iPhone (Samsung) or targeting performance users. She also got a lot of discounts on her iPhone 14 and managed to get it for under $600 - nearly the same price as a new OnePlus flagship.
