I'm a little confused what the use-case for these bots are?
It feels like it would be easier to built a bot to perform a specific set of tasks, rather than a human shaped robot?
- local_crmdgeon 3y agoI honestly think Elon just wanted a robot. I don't think there's much reason for this to exist, and I bet it'll get dropped when he finds something new.
- tonyedgecombe 3y agoNot only that but in a few years we will find out the videos have been faked just like the self driving stuff.
- zamnos 3y agoAutopilot has some serious issues but it's live on customer cars. Can't fake that.
- mgiannopoulos 3y agoMusk has said he wants to put them in Tesla factories first. The humanoid setup was chosen because working stations are designed for humans
