- B1FF_PSUVM 3y agoNah, they've always done that - understanding whatever they expected to read/hear/see, instead of what was written/said/shown. Probably a feature of the cognitive apparatus, wouldn't surprise me if complaints about it were found in cuneiform tablets.
- 1letterunixname 3y agoBreaking news! Now with 150% more clickbait and 300% more misinformation. Critical thinking skills are in the doldrums due to technological distractions. One possibility for education is to go full Luddite: chalk, pencil, dead trees, and collections of dead trees. The ability to focus and master mental labor are the important bits.
