Apple cares about privacy, unless you work at Apple (2021)

- hn8305823 3y agoI don't know who needs to read this but: Always always always keep personal and work things 100% separate. For most of you this means carrying around two laptops and two phones. It's mildly annoying but it's just part of being a tech worker in the 2020's.
- FloatArtifact 3y ago"Employees could pause during onboarding and say they want to create a new Apple ID specifically for work or use a different phone. But most do not — it seems a little paranoid, and the Apple instructions say to go ahead " A real nothing burger as employees really do have a choice to protect their privacy.
- realusername 3y ago"Privacy" in this company is always interpreted as "outsiders having access, not us" so I'm not surprised. It's actually where they are wrong, it's the same for customers.
