I have been years frustrated with this question. In the old days I used to do web2py for my simple crud projects. That included lots of boilerplate code, creating a crud form was very simple (if I recall correctly, one row of code if you were happy with the data model defaults). Then came mobile and responsive designs and a couple of frustrating things with web2py that I don't recall anymore. And I started looking for alternatives. Everything I have looked seems to be a sh*tload of manual writing for simple crud forms or dependent on trusting some random boilerplate repo in github to stay future proof. To date I have not found a reasonable framework that would let me build simple responsive crud apps easily. (As a very much not professional web dev, that is)
Luckily, though, then ChatGPT came. You can just ask GPT to generate the flask backend and forms using bootstrap.
