Really hope this puts pressure on the CRA (Canada) to do the same! It’s comical how accurate CRA’s Auto-Fill system [0] is when filing my (admittedly simple) taxes.
They’re so close to their own solution, “just” needs some UI. (Famous last words, but still…)
I’d be content with “here’s what the CRA has on file.” with a big list of everything already in auto-fill. Then two buttons [accept] which just send it to the CRA with NETFILE, or [file myself] which directs you to a private service instead.
7/7 years I’ve been required to file taxes I would’ve clicked [accept].
