- yboris 3y agoI really hope that the person looks at the work done by GiveWell - https://www.givewell.org/ https://www.givewell.org/ and that they focus on cost-effectiveness of their donations (the amount of good they can do per $1 donated) as the primary dimension worth caring about.

- centmot 3y agoBuilding django as open source is also quite charitable.
- babelthuap 3y agoWe have more philanthropy than anytime in history yet the income gap has gotten worse, homeless worse, drug addiction worse. Money can't solve these problems. Only a robust rule of law and a robust middle class can.
