Why do doctors and writers have unions? None of them are in a meat packing floor. Everybody thinks they’re special until they’re not. Tons of top talent at Amazon and Facebook were recently laid off. You’re not safe just because you’re smart.

  I used to work there and I know people who currently are mangers (among other positions) there. Maybe they’re all lying to me, but I doubt it.

Doctors don't have unions. They have guilds (or even better cartels a la AMA).
