There are a few hints in there that seem to equate innovation with american style tech practices. I agree Japan is poised to become a technology leader again, but I'm optimistic it will do it in it's own terms and not just cargo cult a bunch of US practices and ideas.
- eatonphil 3y agoWhile I do agree with you, on the other hand Japanese companies were able to take a lot from Ford, Drucker, Sloan and other American manufacturers and organization researchers when they (Japanese companies) had their boom in the 60s-80s.
