Probably a one size fits all approach. Small religious organisations have small-scale budgets and are overseen by their members in some form or another. But then there's megachurches which are basically hedge funds. That bit btw doesn't bother me either, so much as lack of transparency regarding political donations etc. Not American either so meh.
