Ask HN: Is there more accurate voice cloning than Elevenlabs?
Elevenlabs’s voice clone of me, using a high quality sample, didn’t sound like me.
I think it’s probably the best available, but is there anything better?

When you speak you don't hear the same thing as others, because of some acoustic reasons. There was even some article about this for elevenlabs voice cloning specifically. Someone tried it and said it didn't sound like them, but all the friends said it sounded identical.
