Unofficial Turkish Election Results Show an Erdogan Lead
- solar_warehouse 3y agoTurkish Electoral system requires at least a simple majority for the presidency stage (50% + 1 vote) and seems like none of the candidates will be able to reach it (assuming the trend stays the same). This will result with an unclear 2 weeks when the elections (only for the presidency part, not the parliment) will have to repeat between the two most voted candidates (Erdogan and his opponent).
- Fatnino 3y agoAnd the spoiler third candidate here is farther right than Erdoğan so basically a big waste of time for everyone while a run off election elects him again.
