I often ask ChatGPT4 questions related to ECU programming and cars. And once it outputs what I believe is correct math, only to get it wrong in another instance. How come I always find these flaws?
- andai 3y agoMath and language use different parts of the brain. (We cloned the language part.) OpenAI announced that ChatGPT Plus users will (finally) get Plugins in a week, so you'll be able to integrate WolframAlpha.

Or even ask it what a formula might be that incorporates an Air Fuel Ratio using the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Or even a speed density algorithm. Things like this for which I know no formulas. Or how a injection time in milliseconds is converted to milligrams of fuel.
- was_a_dev 3y agoAt the moment I have preferred to have ChatGPT output code and run that code For example, I asked ChatGPT to solve a function, in which is suggested to use Newton's method and provided some Python to do so Copy and paste into repl.it and add some quick assertions on known solutions. This is all stuff I learnt early in my undergrad (and quickly forgot). Integrating a Python interpreter into ChatGPT would be awesome
