They can be some employment and tax consequences related to employing overseas staff I think if you stay overseas for too long but it depends on the company, industry, your role and the two countries… from what I’ve read here possibly not relevant to you.
As you did your best to arrange a new date to return which is not that far from May I’d also be pissed if I was let go. I’d speak with a lawyer.

- positive_dfnite 3y agoThank you. That's the part that I think is the most unfair. I was making arrangements for my return, on the earliest date I was medically cleared to fly.
