I think you give game dev too much credit. Is full of unmaubtainable code that will never be used in another game and has bugs that don’t affect the primary goal of fun. Learn to love the spaghetti and embrace not knowing what half the stuff you wrote does the next day. If it’s fun it’s good. There’s only a handful of long duration games under active development anyway.
