The ancient Opera Mail had excellent support for infinitely nested threads, and ability to mute any subtree of the replies. This was marvellous for dealing with mailing lists.
Sadly, the good Opera is long dead, and most email clients are (over)simplified to single-level threads.
- cpach 3y agoThe state of contemporary email clients is quite sad. Apparently the demand for high-quality clients is not high enough.
