I have had a lot of problems with Chromecast (and apple play for that matter). It just never seems to work properly. Bluetooth is better, but every now and then I have to fiddle with it for a minute or two for it to work properly (and yes, also on iPhone). I have started just connecting using a 3.5mm plug. Which this tablet lacks.
