Google Ad reps are getting more and more pushy
- telltruth 3y agoWow... this is huge departure from their algo driven culture and stepping in to Microsoft/IBM style sales rep driven culture. If GPT+Bing takes away 10% of their traffic, would their stock crash?

- shostack 3y agoReminds me of my paid search agency days. We'd joke that Google rep recommendations usually amounted to "increase budgets, increase bids." Which made it all the more hilarious when I got sent a slide deck by my rep (because I insisted on previewing it before they shared it with my client) and on the last slide saw bullets reading: * Increase budgets * Increase bids With a giant red "delete before sending" in the slide title. Let's just say there was an interesting discussion with our rep leadership and lots of laughs on our end as the joke became reality.
