  They might be first or quickest to get the update, but it's certainly not happening quickly. The Nexus S still doesn't have an official update, and AFAIK there are no signs of it being rolled out anytime soon. It should be pretty obvious at this point that something is badly rotten in either the Android development or deployment model. Even Google can't get ICS ported onto their own previous flagship device, despite a huge incentive to do so (get ICS on real hardware onto as many developer's hands as possible) and having had access to the source code all through the ICS development cycle.

    The Nexus S has official ICS, Sprint's 4G version does not (but it looks like it's on it's way--a 4G build was leaked recently).

      I haven't received an OTA. Some version was released in December soon after the Galaxy Nexus launch, but it was sufficiently buggy that they pulled the update after a few days. Presumably the problems must have been fairly serious, since that was 2 months ago and they still haven't restarted the push. If that counts as an official release, the term has no meaning at all.
