Microsoft Wants Firefox to Ditch Google, Switch to Bing
- bluGill 3y agoBetter yet switch to duck duck go (which uses Bing, but adds a privacy filter)
- jacooper 3y agoNormal bing is still crap, the main reason to switch is Bing AI, will they allow it on Firefox though? The best private search engine IMO is Brave Search.
- rvz 3y agoPlease go ahead Mozilla (Firefox) and switch from one behemoth to another, since they are still unable to make money themselves [0] and end up chasing the next fad of AI as a search engine hallucinating nonsense with sophistry. Even if they do move, where exactly is Bing when compared to Google in search traffic? [1]. No where near a 'threat 'to Google. Had high hopes for Mozilla, but it seems they have ran out of ideas and are hardly privacy focused. Brave will essentially make them even more irrelevant.
