Simply enough. Doing it in real time not so much. Most people will panic even with training including myself being an old Marine. I know what to do but if my spouse gets hit I have less than a second to decide what to do; help my spouse and likely also get hit, go for the shooter or keep running. Add to it people yelling and screaming, kids crying and blood everywhere.
