This doesn't even remotely make the case that "longtermism" is dangerous. It appears to be just one more of the many, many "philosophies" people talk about while they go ahead and do whatever the hell they want anyway. It does seem particularly transparent about it, but that just makes it relatively dumb, not dangerous.
