As in, they had theirdomain.com, and they had a google account with name@theirdomain.com, and now they've set up Google Workspace for theirdomain.com but they can't access the old email inbox of name@theirdomain.com? Is that what you mean, or do you mean something else by a free Google account using branded email / personal version of branded email.
