- throwaway2990 3y agoDang gets upset if you point out Chinas genocide and atrocities. He will censor to keep China cash flow. If you talk about America in the same light or worse he’s totally fine with that.

- dang 3y agoWhere did I tell you this? What I tell people is that political/ideological flamewar is not welcome. But not all content is flamewar. If you, or anyone, want to know how we think about this question, there is lots of past explanation here: https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&sort=byDate&type=comment&query=political%20overlap%20by:dang https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&so....
- dang 3y agoI'm a bit late to this, but as far as I can tell that comment was flagged just the same as yours was. I should say, though, that if you're asking about https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35894833 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35894833 - that comment was clearly against the site guidelines. It was far worse a violation of the guidelines than the parent comment you're asking about. Please don't post like that, regardless of which comments users happen to flag. Also- if you want to ask us a question, please send it to hn@ycombinator.com, as the site guidelines ask (https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html). "@dang" is a no-op, and I only saw your comment randomly.
